On Nov. 16th the Florida Glass Dragons held a meeting.
We are proud to present the new slate of officers for 2009.
The slate of officers must be approved by the group. Only paid up dues members may vote.
Below is the list of those that were nominated and agreed to assume the positions in order to help the group move forward. (voting is now closed! results will be posted soon.)

Mary Shafer : Treasurer
Candice King : Secretary
We hope to see many more at our next meeting on Dec. 6th at Glenda Long’s home. More information on that meeting will follow. We hope to be installing the new officers for the future of the Florida Glass Dragons.

The following positions, term limit, and their job descriptions are in accordance with our Florida Glass Dragons Bylaws:
President: The President shall have and exercise general charge and supervision of the affairs of the Florida Glass Dragons and shall oversee all regular meetings. Term is for 1 year .
Vice President: At the request of the President, or in the event of the absence or disability of the President the Vice-president shall perform the duties and possess and exercise the powers of the President. Term is for 1 year.
Secretary: The Secretary shall take minutes at regular meetings and distribute information via posting on the Florida Glass Dragons website. The Secretary will also be in direct communication with the National ISGB via our Regional Director. Term is for 1 year.
Treasurer: The Treasurer shall oversee the custody of all Florida Glass Dragons funds, shall oversee the books belonging to the Florida Glass Dragons, and shall oversee the keeping of full and accurate accounts of all receipts, disbursements and members in good standing. Term is for 1 year.
